How to find your ring size at home
Getting your ring size right before ordering is one of the most important steps you can take, especially when your ring is being made to order, just for you.
Method 1: string or paper
This is the easiest method and works well for most people.
- Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
- Wrap it around the base of the finger you plan to wear the ring on.
- Mark where the paper or string meets.
- Measure that length in millimetres against a ruler.
- Compare to our ring size guide to find your US size.
Method 2: measure an existing ring
If you already own a ring that fits well, this is often the most accurate method.
- Place the ring flat on a ruler.
- Measure the inside diameter in millimetres.
- Compare to the inner diameter column in our size chart.
Fingers are slightly larger in the evening and when warm. Measure at the end of the day for the most accurate result. If you are between sizes, size up.
Not confident measuring at home?
We offer a free ring sizer that we can ship directly to you. Simply order it, try it on, and you will know your exact size before placing your ring order.
A note on wide bands
If you are ordering a wider band ring, consider sizing up by half a size. Wide bands sit closer to the finger and can feel tighter than a standard band at the same size measurement.
Our rings are available in US sizes 5 to 10, including half sizes. If your size falls outside that range, get in touch and we will make a custom size for you in Melbourne.
