Glasâje began the way most meaningful things do - around a table, with people who care deeply about what they create. As partners in life and in business, we came together with a single vision: to make jewellery that feels timeless, wears beautifully every day, and is made in a way we can genuinely be proud of.
Melbourne is our home, and it's where every Glasâje piece begins and ends, designed, handcrafted, polished, and packed right here in our studio. We don't outsource production. We never have. Local craftsmanship and ethical sourcing have been founding principles from day one, and that will never change.
Why We Only Use Recycled Gold & Lab-Grown Diamonds
The jewellery industry has a history of environmental and ethical compromise. We wanted to be part of changing that. Every Glasâje piece is made using recycled 9ct solid gold and sterling silver, paired with lab-grown diamonds and gemstones wherever possible.
Lab-grown diamonds are physically, chemically, and optically identical to mined diamonds, the only difference is how they're created. By choosing lab-grown, we eliminate the environmental damage and ethical concerns associated with traditional diamond mining, without any compromise on the beauty or quality of the stone.
Recycled gold requires up to 99% less energy to produce than newly mined gold. It's the same material, with a significantly smaller footprint. For us, it's a straightforward choice.
Made to Order — Never Mass-Produced
Every Glasâje piece is made specifically for you, when you order it. We don't hold shelves of pre-made stock. This means your piece is genuinely fresh from our studio, crafted by skilled Melbourne jewellers, inspected, and packed with care before it reaches you.
Made-to-order also means less waste. We only make what's needed, when it's needed. It takes a few extra days, but the result is jewellery that's personal, precise, and made to last.
