Ring size guide

We make our rings in Australian and UK letter sizes, from J to U, in half sizes. That is the system we use, and the one to order in. If you know your US or European size, the chart below converts across. Every ring is made to order in Melbourne, so we cast it to the size you choose.

How to measure at home

01

Measure your finger

Cut a thin strip of paper or take a piece of string. Wrap it around the base of the finger, snug but not tight. Mark where it overlaps and measure that length in millimetres against a ruler. Match it to the circumference column below.

02

Measure a ring you own

Take a ring that already fits the right finger. Measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, in millimetres. Match it to the inside diameter column below. This is usually the most accurate method, and the best one if you are buying a gift.

Fingers swell through the day and in warm weather. Measure in the evening for the truest result. If you land between two sizes, take the larger one.

Ring size chart and conversions

Order in the AUS / UK column. Australia, the UK, Ireland and New Zealand share the same letter scale. US and European sizes are the closest equivalents, given for reference. European sizing is the inside circumference in millimetres, which is the ISO standard.

61 19.4 mm 60.8 mm
T 61 19.6 mm 61.5 mm
10 62 19.8 mm 62.1 mm
U 10¼ 63 20.0 mm 62.7 mm

A note on conversions. The letter scale and the US number scale do not line up exactly, so the US column is the nearest equivalent rather than an exact match. Millimetres are the only exact measure. When you are converting, match on diameter or circumference rather than on the number.

If you are still unsure

Wide bands sit tighter

A wider band takes up more of the finger, so it can feel snug at your usual size. On the Baxter and the Dome, consider going up half a letter.

Sizes outside J to U
